I was super excited to see that POYi judges recognized seven bodies of work in the Community Awareness Award. The greatest excitement, for me, is that I helped edit three of the seven projects that were recognized.
All seven are powerful and worth spending some time with. Congratulations to Barbara Davidson for receiving the top honor. I respect this category above all others in POYi, for the depth of story telling it requires.
Oh, and Wahoo is also a town in Nebraska, not far from where I grew up.
